Management a sexual violence situation: case report

Objective: The objective of this article is to describe the health care process in the case of a female adolescent, in case of a situation of sexual violence, through the use of the Singular Therapeutic Project (PTS). Materials and Methods: This is a case involving two teenagers. The information was collected in consultation with the adolescent, registered in the medical records and later a unique therapeutic project was elaborated to better manage the situation, referral and accountability of the health team members. Results: A young man was accompanied by a multiprofessional team, using the environment of the Mata do Jacinto Family Basic Health Unit, in Campo Grande, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil, and later in an outpatient clinic of the Maria Aparecida Pedrossian University Hospital (HUMAP) in the same city. The temporal scope of the service in question was given a period of approximately 04 weeks. Final Considerations: Although sexual violence is in everyday life, each case requires individualized attention. Attention to the health of the victim, harm reduction and sequelae, physical and emotional harm is considered important, thus minimizing through good health practices as sequelae of social fact.
