Fatores relacionados à disfunção sexual no puerpério: uma revisão integrativa

Introdução: A variedade mudanças vivenciadas pelas mulheres no ciclo gravídico puerperal nos aspectos fisiológicos, socioculturais, psicológicos e de identidade, podem afetar seu bem-estar geral, o relacionamento e a sexualidade com possível ocorrência de disfunção sexual feminina. Objetivo: Sumarizar a prevalência e os fatores relacionados à disfunção sexual no puerpério. Métodos: Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa realizada em oito bases de dados eletrônicas de artigos desenvolvidos nesta temática, publicados em inglês, português ou espanhol, de 2011 a 2020. Resultados: Após a leitura e análise dos artigos, 16 artigos compuseram a amostra final e foram analisados por meio de categorias temáticas. Foram identificadas seis categorias principais de fatores: relacionados a escolaridade materna, a problemas sexuais durante a gestação, a lesão perineal, ao tipo de parto, ao tempo de puerpério e a paridade materna. Conclusão: As alterações da função sexual no puerpério estão ligadas as alterações biopsicossociais inerentes ao pós-parto. A realização de cesárea não deve ser indicada para preservação da função sexual, pois a mesma é restabelecida aos parâmetros pré-gestacionais de 12 a 24 meses após o parto. A função sexual deve compor a rotina de atendimento puerperal.
